Hi, My name is Danielle. This is only the beginning of my journey. I’ve never thought life would lead me here, yet here I am. My life’s purpose has always been a mystery. I never knew what I’d do with my quiet life. Recently, my life was altered forever. I received news that my best friend had been murdered on July 19th, 2025. Since then, I’ve found that purpose for myself. To keep her memory alive. To make a change for her. For our mothers, sisters, daughters, cousins, and friends… No person should ever have to endure any violence in life. So I stand with you. With all who want to make a change, and protect our loved ones.

For over three decades, I've specialized in start-ups and turnarounds, applying entrepreneurial passion to companies, not-for-profits, and political advocacy. As President and Founder of Questerre, our Quebec exploration resulted in one of North America's largest natural gas discoveries. I successfully transformed High Arctic Energy Services as Chairman and serve as Honorary Consul to Canada for Papua New Guinea. As CEO of the Modern Miracle Network, I advocate for reasoned energy policy in Canada and have authored pieces in Policy Options, CBC, and The Toronto Sun. I founded the Lesley Binnion Foundation for Disabled Sports in 2000 and previously chaired the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

Tessa Lerbekmo-Joyes is the Founder & Artist behind StandUP Communications, a creative design and magazine company in Alberta. With 30+ years in art and design, she blends passion for fashion, beauty, and creativity with advocacy for women’s empowerment and equal rights. A proud Deaf survivor, Tessa will launch her memoir later this year to inspire others to stand up, speak out, and chase their dreams.

Dr. Anne Aspler is an emergency physician, assistant professor at UofT, and a mother of two girls. She is also a survivor of childhood family violence and sexual assault. She has trained at WHO, Harvard, and worked as a humanitarian in thirty countries. But of all these accolades, the hardest thing she has done was find a path forward after complex grief from intergenerational family violence. Dr. Anne’s mission is to inspire others to reclaim joy after trauma and be a part of the movement to end violence. Read more about her story here.
