The Amethyst Project
EVE’s Amethyst Project is a groundbreaking, survivor-led initiative designed to revolutionize the way we support those impacted by violence. Centred entirely around the needs and lived experiences of survivors, this novel model creates a seamless, trauma-informed ecosystem. Named the Amethyst Project because of the crystal’s protective properties, this project will embody and reinforce our commitment to healing, empowerment, and renewal for survivors.
Amethyst Response Team (ART)
ART is a hospital-based advocacy initiative placing trained peer-support specialists in emergency rooms to provide immediate, trauma-informed care to survivors of gender-based violence, bridging the gap between medical treatment and meaningful support.
A serene, spa-inspired wellness centre offering holistic, trauma-informed healing for survivors and their families. ARC provides safe shelter, comprehensive trauma therapy, and wellness services to help survivors recover and reclaim autonomy.
Amethyst Resident Establishment (ARE)
A community of eco-friendly, trauma-informed modular homes; ARE provides long-term transitional housing and wraparound services — including legal aid, comprehensive trauma therapy, and employment support — to help survivors rebuild stable, independent lives.
