Hi! I’m Alexa and I am a survivor with a passion for advocacy. My role at EVE involves working with survivors to ensure that they are supported as they move away from their abusers and through the court system. EVE creates a safety net around our understanding that they are not alone.

I have been involved as a board member for several not-for-profits, constantly seeking to improve the status of those who have been traditionally marginalized. In recent years, I have focused my energy on calling out problematic aspects of the criminal justice system in hopes of protecting others. I am co-founder of #SurvivorSafetyMatters, an organizations that seeks to protect the personal records of survivors who engage the criminal justice system and have done work within my local school board to promote the conversation around consent.
